Role Overview

As a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) developer, you will be part of a hand-picked team that is implementing the digital supply chain of tomorrow at Dell.  You should be comfortable with a fast-paced dynamic environment, be able to clearly and concisely work with users on their needs in automation and may be asked to regularly participate in cross-functional teams in support of digital initiatives throughout the organization.

Role Responsibilities

-Analyze and identify Robotic Process Automation opportunity within business operations

-Work closely with a RPA Process Analyst to convert business requirements to automations

-Complies with and helps to enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures

-Troubleshoot and debug automations for bug fixes during the quality assurance and user acceptance test phases

-Deploy RPA code to production


-8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in computer science

-Good understanding of programming concepts and a programming background in and coding language

-Experience with development in RPA tools (Automation Anywhere, UI Path etc.)

-Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work


-5+ years of software development experience, including RPA projects

-Demonstrated RPA development (RPA Certification, projects etc.)

-Knowledge of SQL databases

-Experience in two or more of the following: JavaScript/C#/C++/.NET

-Experience as a software tester

-Supply Chain experience
