Role Purpose/Position Overview:

Under the supervision and guidance of the Office of the Chairman, the Corporate Liaison (Part-time) will provide ad-hoc inter-corporate liaison services amongst high technology companies in the Vermont/New Hampshire region, including resource matrixing and project management. 

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Develop and carry out assigned actions aligned with UT's work with potential partners in region
  • When needed, maintain effective contacts with assigned companies in order to further UT's work
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to management summarizing interactions and activities
  • Research various assigned companies to understand key research and business objectives
  • Represent UT as needed at meetings, increasing positive awareness of United Therapeutics within the region and research community
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field or equivalent experience 
  • Willingness and ability to travel wtihin region as needed, including Vermont and New Hampshire
  • Flexibility to work unusual, irregular hours in this part-time role

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities;

  • Demonstrated ability to comfortably create and deliver presentations
  • Proven exceptional organizational and writing skills
  • Demonstrated effective research skills
